Suzanne LeQueux of Rossmore LA

Suzy is an artisanal jeweler working in Los Angeles, CA. She is the first designer to collaborate with LPV. Her line, Rossmore, helped launch LPV's debut collection, in the pursuit of Tarana’s freedom (LPV No. 2).
The design for Tarana was inspired by your wish bracelets. Why did you start making wish bracelets?
I read a book by Deepak Chopra, where he gave these instructions,
" make a decision that any time you come into contact with anyone, you will give them something. It doesn't have to be in the form of material things; it could be a flower, a compliment or a prayer. In fact, the most powerful forms of giving are non-material."
Inspired by his words, and my desire to create something intangible within my jewelry that would exceed the sum of its parts, I decided to give away tangible wish bracelets at the markets and events I did attended to get my business started, as representations of the giving of wishes, which were my non-material way of giving away love & light.
Will a wish come true if someone shares it out-loud? If so, can you tell us what your wish is for Tarana?
Haha...I dont make up the rules for wishing! In my book there are no rules and no limits. I only hope to facilitate and remind people to wish. I believe wishes come true to whoever and however someone believes without limitation! My wish for Tarana is for her to continue to always spread her unique light, no matter the circumstances, and that all her hopes and dreams be supported and manifested by her own tremendous spirit as well as by the wonderful people around her.
Why did you want to get involved with LPV/Tarana?
First off, meeting Cat and sensing her passion for this potential project piqued my initial interest! I read her heart-felt letters about the nun and the little victories that we can create, even as individuals and was truly inspired.
I can't express how much I resonate with the sentiment of 'Les Petites Victoires.” I believe small things can change the world- human compassion, smiling at strangers, offering a flower, a blessing. I try to celebrate the little personal human victories through my little mission with Rossmore which is to spread love and light. Combined with LPV, this has in effect become its own little victory!
Furthermore, I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to meet Tarana and experience her passion for freedom. I have often thought to myself, “wow, where in the world would I be as a woman, not to mention, a female business owner, without the fearless women and men who have gone before us all fighting for individual liberties, not only here, but around the planet!?”
Thank you Tarana and LPV for igniting in my heart a call to action and for enlisting Rossmore as a tool in this project to help not only everyone with inspiration and permission to act, but to help an actual individual pursue passion and freedom at will, and with joy and delight!
